Jeff and Tricia Spurgeon are the owners of Body Balance Personal Training and they are committed to providing the motivation necessary to help you achieve your goals. Jeff has been in the Personal Training field for over 20 years with a degree in Exercise Science/ Sports Medicine and has worked with clients of all levels. "Each client is a success waiting to happen, whatever their goals may be. I love what I do and not a day goes by
that I don’t realize how lucky I am to daily inspire others to succeed." Tricia also has her degree in Exercise Science with Minor in Nutrition; she is a full time trainer of 3 young boys, runs the accounting & operations of Body Balance, and conducts a weekly Women’s Outdoor Conditioning class in Sherwood. Both love the outdoors and Jeff would ski everyday if possible.

Jeff Spurgeon
Jeff is the owner of Body Balance Personal Training, where we just celebrated our 10 year anniversary; he has over 20 years Personal Training and Fitness experience. His degree is B.S. in Exercise Science / Sports Medicine, National Strength and Conditioning Certified (NSCM) and IDEA Fitness Member since 1989. He was the head Nike trainer for over 10 years, in charge of Lattice Semi-Conductor corporate training 5 years, and has managed various other Personal Training Corporate businesses. |

Bill Erno
Bill has over 20 years of Personal Training and athletic training experience; he has his Masters in Exercise Science and has experienced many years in the athletic training field. Bill’s knowledge of exercise rehab and injury evaluation makes him a very important part of the Body Balance team. |

Jeremy Shidner
Jeremy Shidner is a certified Personal Trainer with over 7 years of Personal Training experience. He is certified with the National Academy of Sports Medicine, American Council of Exercise, is Apex certified, Stretch certified, and small group spinning certified. "Fitness has always been a part of my life, and I believe fitness needs to be fun and a way of life. If you train correctly, working out in the gym should be a fun experience." Jeremy played 5 years of professional
baseball and enjoys coaching youth sports, spending time with his family and is always trying to get into any pick up sports game he can. He also enjoys watching movies in his free time. |

Damon Schaefer
Damon Schaefer is a certified Personal trainer with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Fitness and is certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine holding their advanced certification. He is a member of the IDEA elite personal trainers, and is an executive fitness expert with 17 years of experience n the health and fitness industry. Damon has gained valuable experience in the fitness industry by personally competing in marathons, adventure racing, and mountain bike
racing. He is also a three time Iron Man competitor. Damon has taken his passion for fitness to the community, by volunteering his time to train and coach children. It is his goal to introduce children to a lifestyle of health and fitness industry.

Jason Delp
Jason Delp is a certified personal trainer with over 12 years of experience in the training fitness industry and certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine for over 5 years. Jason has gained much of his expertise from studying and applying his love for functional/ core training over the years he now does a full movement screen on all of his clients to find out their muscular imbalances. Jason also enjoys training many of his clients in the use of kettlebell training which
is the newest full body resistance training method. Jason has also many years of coaching youth sports and enjoys baseball, hiking, fishing and spending as much time as possible with his wife and son. |

André Cobbs
André is a Personal Trainer who has passion for fitness and sport. He has gained great experience through personal participation in various sports and activities, such as Hood-to-Coast (8 consecutive years), finishing the Portland Marathon, playing college football and coaching youth and high school athletes. In addition to strength, conditioning and fitness, André has also focused his attention in the area of Performance Enhancement for athletes, through Speed, Agility and Quickness
training. He is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and is also currently working on a certification from the American College of Sports Medicine (ASCM), while continuing to high school football coach.

Joan Cobbs
Joan is a Personal Trainer with a B.A. in Biology, a certification in WholyFit (a yoga-alternative and fitness trainer certification) she's a member of IDEA Fitness and is currently studying to receive another certification with ISSA. She enjoys helping people reach their fitness goals by drawing from her personal experience of training with her college track team, several Hood-to-Coast runs, the Portland Marathon, mind-body exercise and general fitness training to maintain a healthy
lifestyle. She started Align Fitness, LLC, in 2007 with a vision to bring balance and flexibility as well as strength training to help others acheive their ideals of fitness, health and wellness. She currently teaches a few Flexible Strength (yoga-style) group classes in the Beaverton area in addition to training individuals and small groups at Body Balance.

Pam Criswell
Pam works as Jeff's personal assistant and helps to oversee the everyday business needs of the studio. She has a passion for people, fitness and healthy living. Along with the tasks of scheduling, marketing, and studio promotions, She contributes to the Body Balance experience with her creative ability to warmly welcome everyone. She shares her time generously, listening to the members and trainers, responding with refreshing support. If Pam is not behind the front desk you'll find
